Hi Seamless Life Triber,
Here are 3 seamless life pillars for this week: 1 letter for you, 1 thing to ponder, and 1 offer to consider this week.
Welcome to episode III of our series - Building Influence.
Receiving is just the first step; giving completes the cycle.
This is where many misunderstand tithing and giving back to God.
The divine doesn't need our offerings; He's modeling a way of living.
Giving isn't just for those below us; it flows upward in honor too.
Real influence isn't measured by what you accumulate, but by what you circulate.
Once you've mastered self-influence, direct your impact to three key places:
To your family
“But if a man makes no provision for those dependent on him, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is behaving worse than an unbeliever.”
I was sitting in the Loo doing the morning Doo while the sun was rising, my bowels was dusking.
Then I remember my Dad and Mum, how they influenced us.
I remember my mother’s unwavering footsteps down my room each morning, knocking, calling, gathering us for devotion.
How she would send my siblings to knock and call us all.
No exceptions. Not when my father traveled. Not when guests stayed over. Even those of other faiths joined us when present. That consistency carved truth into my bones.
Here’s what I learned: Your first and most sacred duty is to spiritually shape those under your roof. Not with perfection, but with persistence.
Not just in words, but in rhythms.
What you engrave in your children’s hearts today will outlive you. The world will try to influence them, but your voice, your example, your daily faithfulness? That becomes their inner compass.
Influence your immediate family, siblings, and extended family.
Your Superiors & Subordinates
29 “His fellow servant fell down before him and begged for a little more time. ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it,’ he pleaded. 30 But his creditor wouldn’t wait. He had the man arrested and put in prison until the debt could be paid in full.
We idolize viral fame; millions of followers, global platforms.
But Scripture reveals a startling truth: real influence flows vertically before it spread horizontally.
That’s not bad.
That forgiven servant in Matthew 18 had his chance. Knees on the ground, a peer begged for mercy; the same mercy he'd just received from his master.
One decision to pay forward grace would have transformed his creditor, inspired observers, and honored his king. Instead, he chose the prison of selfishness.
True influence is honoring the people directly above us and under us.
If you read the story above, you will realize this servant refused to pay it forward.
Costing him the chance to influence his master, the other servant, and the people watching.
Next Week, we will look into the last set of people you can influence.
The People Watching.
If you fail to influence yourself, your family, and the people directly above and beneath you.
You can’t influence the world!
This Week’s Ponder
Short-term results come from intensity.
