Hi Seamless Life Triber,
Here are 3 seamless life pillars for this week: 1 letter for you, 1 thing to ponder, and 1 offer to consider this week.
Welcome to episode IV of our series - Building Influence.
There are two kinds of men: those who accept the world as it is, and those who break their chains to remake it.
Elon Musk, Oprah Winfrey, Nelson Mandela…
These are the kind of men I am talking about.
Oprah Winfrey
She was born where dreams rarely survived—on a Mississippi farm where poverty wrapped itself around her like a second skin. A little girl with big eyes and bigger questions, she spent her early years in the shadow of hardship.
Her grandmother, hands rough from years of washing other people's clothes, told her: "You better learn to serve, because that’s all you’ll ever do." But young Oprah had a fire inside her, a voice that refused to be silenced.
At nine, innocence was stolen from her. At fourteen, she was pregnant and lost her child. Society expected her to crumble. Instead, she became steel forged in the fire of adversity.
She read books like they were keys to another world. She spoke with a voice that demanded attention. One radio gig led to another, then to TV, where she transformed interviews into intimate, soul-stirring experiences.
And then she changed everything.
Nelson Mandela was born in a land where his skin color was a prison.
South Africa’s Apartheid system made sure of that.
But young Mandela had the heart of a lion. He refused to bow.
He studied law to fight injustice.
He joined the resistance, not with weapons, but with words and defiance.
But the system was ruthless. They arrested him, branded him a terrorist, and sentenced him to life in prison.
27 years!
For 27 years, he sat in a tiny cell, breaking rocks under the hot sun.
But he never broke.
They offered him freedom if only he’d give up the fight. He refused. He told them: "I will walk out of here as a free man or not at all."
And then, one day, he did.
When he left prison, he did not seek revenge. He sought peace.
He became South Africa’s first Black president, leading a nation from the darkness of Apartheid into the light of reconciliation.
Mandela didn’t just win freedom for himself, he won it for generations to come.
Your influence shouldn’t end with you or your family.
It should affect your nation, continent, and the world.
What do you stand for? When will you start sharing that message?
The World Awaits! We await your rising!
This Week’s Ponder
To succeed, you must now decide exactly what your goal is and lay out the steps by which you intend to reach it. You don’t have “dreams”, you have “goals”. Dreams are for sleep.
